About Qapita

What is Qapita?

Qapita is a global, end-to-end digital equity management software platform designed primarily for private companies, startups, and fund managers. The platform acts as a digital "system of record" to help companies replace manual, error-prone spreadsheets with automated tools to track who owns what. As of 2026, the company manages over $55 billion in equity across more than 3,000 companies globally

Who is Qapita for?

Qapita is designed for the entire private market ecosystem • Early-Stage Startups: Utilizing free tools like Qapita Spark to structure their first cap table correctly and design early ESOP pools. • Mid-to-Late-Stage Scaleups: Automating cross-border legal compliance, running independent valuations, and unlocking liquidity via secondary transactions. • Publicly Listed Corporations: Following its acquisition of ESOP Direct, the platform also serves large public enterprises managing complex legacy employee stock plans

What type of software is Qapita?

Qapita is listed under Cap Table Software.

What are Qapita's core capabilities?

• Cap Table Management: Centralizes the company's full capital structure. It tracks common stock, preferred shares, angel rounds, warrants, and convertible instruments like SAFE notes, while offering real-time dilution and waterfall scenario modeling. • ESOP & Stock Plan Administration: Streamlines the design, compliance, digital issuance, and tracking of Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) and RSUs. It provides employees with "Equity Payslips" to visualize their vesting schedules and equity value. • Liquidity & Secondary Marketplaces: Facilitates structured equity buyback programs, tender offers, and secondary transactions so employees and early investors can safely liquidate their shares. • Valuations & Reporting: Automates complex compliance tasks, including official 409A valuations, asset accounting, and financial reporting aligned with ASC 718 and IFRS 2 accounting standards. • Fund Administration: Provides tools for modern venture capital and fund managers to handle digital onboarding, Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), capital calls, and LP reporting.

Pricing

Published pricing
  • Named tiers (Starter/Growth/Enterprise) via qapita.com/in/pricing, but no visible numeric plan pricing — all CTAs route to "Request a Demo"/contact sales.

Some add-on numbers are public: employee town halls at "$500/hr," analyst support at "USD 125/hr," and custom-per-report valuation pricing, plus a one-off SSO/HRIS setup fee. A separate cap-table page mentions "$1,600/year for 40 stakeholders, $40-60/additional," which conflicts with the "contact us" framing of the main pricing page — flagged as an internal inconsistency on the vendor's own site rather than resolved.

From the vendor's published pricing as of 26 Sept 2026. Confirm current prices with the vendor.
