Square POS

Square Point of Sale is a POS system from Square for food and beverage, retail, beauty and service businesses, offered with Square's own hardware: handhelds, terminals, registers, stands, kiosks and contactless and chip readers. Its free plan includes the POS app, an online site, an item library with inventory and sales tracking, and invoicing, with card processing fees charged per payment.

Square takes offline payments for up to 24 hours and processes them when the device reconnects, syncs inventory across multiple locations with low-stock alerts by email, and includes a kitchen display system for restaurants. The Plus plan adds advanced POS features for food and beverage and retail, lower card fees, a loyalty program connected to the POS, unlimited email marketing and text messages, and staff scheduling. Square POS is not available in India.
