The people behind EquityList
EquityList began as an internal AngelList India project to replace spreadsheet-based equity administration, and spun out as an independent company in 2023, adding an ESOP Advisory line in 2024. AngelList India remains an investor alongside Republic and Hustle Fund. Its own pages disclose inconsistent self-reported scale figures (e.g. "650+ companies / 80,000+ stakeholders / $20B+ securities" on the homepage vs. "600+ companies / $4B+ / 50,000+ stakeholders" on about-us) — no single number is presented here as fact.
