Vyapar is built by Simply Vyapar Apps Private Limited, founded in 2017 by Sumit Agarwal (a former ~8-year QuickBooks engineer at Intuit) and Shubham Agrawal. It's raised roughly $36M in Series B funding from IndiaMART, WestBridge Capital, and India Quotient. The same company separately operates Vyapar TaxOne, a CA/tax-practitioner practice-management product - a distinct offering from the Vyapar accounting app reviewed here.
